Over the years I have looked at many kinds of chakra jewellery, as I always wanted to wear something encompassing these energies. I am sure that all were made with great care yet none resonated and so I went without. But now there is Chakra by Piya which makes, I feel, all others in this genre pale in comparison. The creator and designer Piya is not only a talented professional jeweller, but also a long-time and well respected spiritual teacher and healer who has a very deep knowledge and understanding of many things, including the chakras and energies. What I especially love about ‘Chakra by Piya’ is not only the artistry, skilled use of materials, designs and originality, but also the very ‘feel’ of them and the fact that there is something to suit every age, taste and budget. I have bought several pieces over the past few years for myself and also as gifts. Some of the recipients are neither knowledgeable nor particularly interested in spiritual/energy maters, yet each and every one of them has responded with delight and wears their piece(s) continuously. At the same time, I have to say that this range of jewellery is really modern. I see young and old(er) enjoying being able to mix and match different pieces, creating an individual look and statement without losing the integrity of the energies.
